◇Synopsis On the stage, a man is trying to build up a space. He is crafting a play named The Last Will and Testament of Batako Yuida. In this script, he attempts to “create” the final testament of awoman, Batako Yuida, who chose to end her life, intending to perform it as a letter to the world. However, this carefully constructed “space” is unexpectedly permeated by the voices of “Others” (the ‘Whos’), forcing the playwright to continually re-examine the act of fictionalizing the deceased.

◇About us Hello! We’re TOI〈toy〉. TOI〈toy〉is performing arts unit established in Tokyo,2025. Our original members are Rikuo Takahashi (leader), Marina Sugawara, Shuka Minami, and Yuri Sasahara. “TOI” means “question” in Japanese. We compose our stage around three core viewpoints: oneself, others and “creation”. Furthermore, we aim to bring forth the outpouring of the human interior, fueled by criticality (which we call “TOI”). Our first performance will be held in October2025.
